This new site I’m going to is kind of starting to grow on me! I really love the abundance of well preserved shells and the sharks teeth that come out of here (if I don’t break them) are in superb condition. I arrive at this site, however, with some disappointment. Footprints everywhere, and discarded rocks piled in a pile i know I didn’t leave with a bunch of broken shells. It looks like someone took the liberty of smashing rocks with a hammer and leaving the place a mess for others. Not a good look to be honest I always try to clean my area and make it look better than where I left it. The go

Woah. Is all I have to say to this trip. Finding one of these was going to be a trip maker, but I found 4 complete megalodons. I’m really stoked. Also found some nice hemis, sand tigers, dolphin vertebra, bone, and etc. 3 of the megs were posterior but the fourth was a nice little cream Meg. I found these on Matoaka Beach, Maryland a week ago. I found some of these that have bone and shell in them. I also found turtle shell fragments and other bone fragments. I think they are just iron concretions of some sort, but since I found bone in some I question whether there may be something else to them. Any thoughts?
