I had a good day fossil hunting North Sulphur River creeks. I found Xiphactinus jaw pieces, skull bones, Mosasaur verts and what I think is a worn Mosasaur or Plesiosaur bone. The large jawbone has 14 sockets for teeth and 6 partial teeth.

I found this large piece of bone at North Sulphur River Texas. The area is Cretaceous Ozan Formation. It's very worn but I wanted to see what everyone thought it was. Thanks

Short NSR hunt due to a leaky boot. I did manage to find a nice size Mosasaur vert and a couple of coprolites with bone and shell in them.

A nice day fossil hunting at The North Sulphur River and surrounding creeks. I found a load of Mosasaur bones and one cool old bottle from the 1930s. One Mosasaur vert was a lucky find. I saw a lump in the red zone and wanted to try out my new rock hammer and it turned out to be a vert. The Mosasaur Angular with the shark feeding marks in the second pic was my favorite find of the day.

I recently found this cluster of Exogyra at the North Sulphur River Texas. I would like to clean it up some so I could see them all and display it. What's the best way for a beginner to prep a piece like this? Sorry for the poor quality photo.

Quick question. Is there anyway to tell what type of Mosasaur teeth or single vertebrae I find come from? I often find Mosasaur verts of all size and teeth at North Sulphur River Texas but I'm always curious which Mosasaur they are from. I posted a couple of teeth I found and was curious about.

7 Mosasaur vertabrea, Enchodus tooth, Exogra in matrix and possible coral. Waded water and climbed through mud and to get to areas without footprints.

Short hunt today. Pretty picked over area but I did manage to find a Mosasaur rib head, Ammonite pieces and a micro fossil bivalve in Limestone.
