Hello all, I am new to the forum and appreciative of the help people have given me. I am also a numismatist. It is common for coin collectors to carry a coin of interest in their pocket. When someone posted a query on a coin list as to what was the coin in their pocket there were dozens of immediate responses. I have carried this habit over to my paleontological interests. I carry a Cambrian era trilobite in my pocket, along with an interesting older coin (but comparatively not that old). This makes me wonder if fossiliers have a similar habit. Do any on you carry a small fossil in your pocket? If so, what? Is this a topic already trodden on this list, and if so, sorry to be a repeat. Tom

I found this in an air pocket in a limestone slab. Had to chip and cut to attain. Anyone else come across similar finds? If you look at it humorusly it looks like a fish sticking its tongue out and sticking one fin in the air. Anyway thought it was worth posting.
