I brought a piece of marl from my trip to France that had some interior bits sticking out. The location is Pointe du Chay (south of La Rochelle) and age Kimmeridgian - Jurrassic. Two of the pieces I prepped out this weekend (first successful attempt in doing so despite too much glue). The tube like structure and what I first expected to be a bivalve from the outside but I don’t know any with a hexagonal pattern. thanks in advance for your help

Hello, i went fossil hunting several times this year and i want to show you some spots and the fossils that i found or can be found there. Firstly here are fossils from a little village near the town of Orthez : Sallespisse. I have no pics of the site, but here are pics of the fossils found there and exposed in the City hall and in the museum of the Salt in Salies de Béarn. Here are the fossils i found there : I sent some to @Herb recently : After this site i went in the mountains, looking for trilobites. So i went to the col of Aubisque and the col of Soulor.

I found that coral in the Kimmeridgian of la pointe du Chay, Charentes-Maritime. I have a documentation that shows some corals of that area and the one that looks like more is the Pseudocoenia hexaphyllia, what do you think it is ? The hole in which it is is about 4 cm on 3 cm.
