I didn't want to ask here but I've scoured the mineralogy sites and can't find any match and the Mineral groups on FB won't let me join. I have this large rock I pulled from RR track base. All the base was the same meterial. Any clue to what the mineral is? It's fairly brittle.

Looks like it’s been turned to beekite. Found in Paleozoic gravel alongside numerous gastropods on a rail road.

Found on the railroad tracks. Confident it’s an echinoderm based on the apparent pentaradial symmetry. Heart urchin? Probably Ordovician to Silurian stone. Definitely Paleozoic.

I'm fairly certain that it's a fish, but does anyone know what kind? It was found in Johnson County KY near some railroad tracks. The rock measures about 2.4 inches long. Also, what kind of leaves are these? They were found in a ditch by a road and there were calamite fossils nearby. Each rock measures about 2 inches long (they were bigger, but I sanded off most of the excess rock because they were clunky and just had these little fossils on the edge).
