Hi all, I posted yesterday about an interesting rock found at Saltburn Beach and was informed it was crinoid stem sections. I also found this rock on the same day which appears to have some fossils in it? I’m wondering if these are also from Crinoids? They are only visible when the rock is wet. Thanks! - Eloise

Hi there, I found this rock at Saltburn Beach (on the North Yorkshire Coast, UK) and it appears to be made up of some tiny round fossils approximately 3mm in diameter. Some have clear ridges running from the centre out and all appear to have a hole in the middle. There is a patch where they are together and form a longer cylinder, so maybe these are shell parts of a larger organism? I would love to know if anyone has any more information! - Eloise

Hey guys, I am new to fossil hunting but do have some amazing areas in the NE of England to visit. I found this at Saltburn beach last week and have been having trouble identifying it. Could you please help? It's about the size of a small tangerine if that helps.

Took a family trip to Saltburn yesterday, just up from where we normally go (Redcar) and made some discoveries, one of which looks like a nautiloid. I made a video of that last one, the possible nautiloid:
