The San Diego River flows through the county, from east to the west. The Mission Valley has all kinds of fossils...I am going to start releasing my collection...unfortunately so much development has destroyed some awesome stuff...I have a couple amphibious sturgeon looking specimens 6ftplus...

Horse tooth? (Sorry if I’m asking in the wrong place, newbie here!)
Mom of finder posted a topic in Fossil ID
My son found this along the beach area along the Wando River on Daniel Island, SC, USA. (size reference is a USA penny which measures approx 19mm in diameter) He normally finds shark teeth at the various beaches around Charleston so this treasure really excites him, THANK YOU for all opinions, expertise, high-fives!- 3 replies

I apologize for the subpar pictures, they were taken in a hurry at my boyfriends house. We went beach combing along a river "beach" about a mile, as the bird flies from the ICW in South Carolina. His daughter found what appears be a vertebra? I really don't have the slightest inclination.

This is something I found most recently, at a sandbar in a coastal South Carolina creek. I don't have the slightest idea what it could be. My 7 year old is convinced that it is a fossil of an ancient loggerhead sea turtle lol. I think that its probably a piece of I don't know but its interesting enough for me to stick in my pocket to bring home lol any help is greatly appreciated

This is a recent find on a sandbar where I find land and sea fossils. Reminds me of a human fibula, but I really have no idea. I also found 3 turkey verts, sea turtle fragments and shark teeth on the same day. This looks like it will be easily identifiable, but can provide more info if needed. Thank you for any help you can give me. Holocene- Silver Bluff Back Barrier Complex: Georgia Coast near Savannah
