I got this from an expo today, it was collected in Gill MA and supposed to be Anomoepus. The rock is about 6 inches by 4 inches. I'm not remotely familiar with tracks so hoping someone here can verify it. Pictures are with and without flash, let me know if you need other angles or anything to ID. Thank you!

I found this near the 476 turnpike where they tore up all the ground and exposed the New Brunswick Formation. This formation is triassic. I went to a dump site where the construction company took all the rock. Is this possibly some sort of trace fossil from a lizard or sphenodontid? (If you neer to see it better flip your phone or device upside down)

from Brazos River west of Houston Texas in a sandstone cast? I am not holding my breath on this one could this be a partial track?

The Green River Formation is one of the most well-known fossil sites in the world, occupying present-day Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. This Lagerstätte has been noted for its well-preserved fish fossils, as well as numerous invertebrates, plants, and sometimes even reptiles and birds. Green River fossils are Eocene-aged, at 53.5 to 48.5 million years old. Thankfully, not only are Green River fossils attractive, they also remain affordable to the casual collector. I stumbled across this today on a hike in SE Colorado. At first I wrote this off as just a neat natural shape in the rock but after closer inspection it has my curiosity peaked. the darker yellow area around it is also raised about 1/4 in. What do you all think?

Hi I was wondering if this footprint looks legit to everyone. It's allegedly a imprint and outprint of a Anchisauripus. I won it in a auction but I don't have it in hand yet so these are the best photos I have at the moment. Does it look like the real deal or should I be concerned? Thanks for any help

Hi, Last month I was browsing an estate auction, saw this footprint and without knowing anymore, since the price seemed reasonable I bought it.... I mean, never seen a "dino track" available. At least something new in the collection. The old man i bought it from, told me that if he remember well, he geot it from "someplace in the northeast" (a 80 something year old kid who was downsizing all his home), that´s all. If someone has an idea of where it could come from and what it could be I´ll appreciate it. Luis

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me identify this. Found near Corry, PA (NW PA) in a stream bed. Bedrock in the area is U. Devonian & Mississippian, rock type is SS or conglomerate. I realize land animals were not present in the Devonian, so I'm thinking its Mississippian. Is this a track fossil or something else? If it is a track, does anyone know what could have made it? It seems like something relatively heavy may have depressed the sediment (I tried to show the depth with a dime), and it wouldn't just be a twig or leaf.

Hi all, sorry if this topic has already been made, but I couldn't find any threads teaching how to properly paint out fossil trackways. Basically I have a piece of Green River matrix with some bird tracks on it. As the depressions are very faint, i intend to darken the tracks the same way people often do for Grallator trackways. Any recommendation on the paint or material or method used? Thanks.
