  2. Here I have a few hash plates littered with ostracods all over their surfaces, they don't show up great on camera but I will also include a closeup shot of the surface. They were all found by me here in the Jurassic shales of Connecticut. I have way too many to keep even from just one batch of matrix but feel bad throwing them away. I am not looking for anything in particular just seeing if people would be interested, Thank you all, Misha.
  3. We completed our first trade on the fossil forum recently and it was awesome. We got a great fossil and a cool new friend. I am putting up one of my Stethacanthus altonensis teeth because I want to bulk up our shark education program just a bit. It is really the only tooth we could trade that has much appeal. Here are the details on the teeth we have to offer. I actually think this one of our anvil shark teeth. This one is smaller but has the tip intact. The details Stethacanthus altonesis Delaware Creek Member-Caney Shale Formation Mississippian-Meremacian Pontotoc County, Oklahoma We can also offer some trade filler too but none of it rare or anything. PM if you want pictures of these teeth. 2 Isurus planus teeth from Sharktooth Hill Miocene 1 Ptychodus whippeli from Texas. i have no other information about the tooth. 1 Cretaceous Shark indet tooth from New Jersey ( I think). Scapnorhynchus was the leading opinion when it put it on the TFF for ID. It was not a unanimous opinion though. We are looking for specific things to fill in our education presentation about sharks. Astercanthus teeth and spine. Any Hybodont shark would work but in a perfect world we find an Astercanthus sp. Caseodus tooth Campodus tooth Cardabiodon tooth Feel free to say hello if you are interested. In pic 3, the trade tooth is on the right.
  4. We had an awesome item show up in our mail box today, an Edmontosaurus jaw fragment. It is the product of our first trade on TFF and it is really the first dinosaur piece we have that is not a tooth. We traded an extra dinosaur tooth for it. A Hell Creek for Hell Creek swap. Thank you @Captcrunch227 for an awesome trade and for being a great trade partner. We are super happy with the process and the end result. The mail brought another pleasant surprise. Our Acheroraptor tooth arrived. It is a beautiful tooth and a great addition. As if our day was not busy enough, we secured ourselves an Ankylosaurus tooth from Judith River and it is not a nodosaur. Right tooth from the right formation. I am not saying it is a tooth from Zuul at all but it gives us a chance to tell the kiddos that it MIGHT be . I think Zuul is the perfect species to discuss armored dinos that a lot of kids will recognize but also I am super fired about it. All and all, a pretty fantastic day off from work for me lol
  5. Hi guys! I'm looking to find a normal Cave Hyena tooth for trade. If anyone does have one for the trade send me Pm Thanks! Darko
  6. Hi! I would like to trade these Nerinea snails, they were found in Valjevo,Western Serbia. They are from the Jurassic period. If anyone is interested send PM! In return i would like to trade these for teeth mostly, but if not other fossils are possible too Kind regards, Darko
  7. This question is directed at those of us who do buy fossils. Would you buy fossils from China? Legally, it seems questionable. They are highly available, which makes me wonder what is going on.
  8. Seeing as for the foreseeble future Niger looks out of bounds. Suchomimus Tenerensis
  9. Here is another 3D prepared Portunus monspeliensis that I'd like to trade. Size of the crab is around 9cm in a 13×13 nodule. I'm looking for: prepped/unprepped complete/incomplete crabs White River material English ammonites (Lyme Regis/ Charmouth and Somerset) USA trilobites USA dinosaur material Triassic ammonites Anything that you think is cool
  10. I have a ton of belemnites lying around, the picture does not include all of them, just a few examples of what I have, there are probably around three more batches like this I just have not found them yet, (I will post pictures when they are found). Since these are not too spectacular I am also not looking for anything serious but if anyone is interested please contact me through this or PM.

  12. Looking to trade paleozoic invertebrates from North America for good Waldron Shale material. I have a good selection of prepared trilobites, crinoids, brachiopods, etc..specimens for exchange. species@columbus.rr.com.
  13. Hey everybody, For a school project I'm looking for a ton of mini belemnites (2-4cm things). Quite urgent I would be able to trade for shark teeth, Moroccan dino teeth, trilo's, .. or else buy them. Would any of you have some to trade? Best regards and thanks!
  14. Hi everyone! I'm doing Paleoart as you know,so I'm willing to trade for my drawings.I'm interested in all kinds of fossils...I would rather fossil trade with my own fossils, but now I'm having problems with sending them to another country ( I have trade successfully with them earlier). And now I'm trying to solve that problem and It takes time.Because of that i have drawings and i can send them easily.I'm doing all kinds of prehistoric animals as u know. If anyone is interested, feel free to send me a message Thanks
  15. Here is a double (almost) concrection of Portunus monspelliensis (old name: Neptunus granulatus) from the Miocene of Bosa. The left claw is crushed as you can see, don't know if because of a predation. Tips of the pinchers are restored. Sorry for the bad quality pictures, if required I will try to make better. Anyway I'm mostly looking for other prepped/unprepped crabs, but any cool fossil could interest me. If you have any crab for trade but you aren't interested in that just let me know, we could find an agree in other ways. Thanks
  16. Is there any fellow fossil addict here that could help me to: Aligator skin plate (thats called a scute, right? ) Larger Ray dental plate No need for mint/ spectacular pieces, recognisable will do. Got some trilobite bits & bobs for trade Cheers Pat

    Mazon Creek Nodules

I recently bought a few collections/accumulations of Mazon Creek fossils. One of them seems to have been a collection of all fauna. After sorting out all the pecopteris ferns and such, I am left with a pile of what seems to be mostly fauna. I am not very familiar with them and don't have very much time right now to figure out the classifications. So I thought maybe someone here would like to work out some sort of trade in exchange for ID'ing these nodules for me? There are shrimp, worms, maybe a few more unusual plants, and stuff I have no idea on. I think I have about 50 nodules. PM me if you are interested, thanks!
  18. Hello, I have a box with trilobites from Czech Republic, cambrium .Here are some pictures, if anyone is in for a trade, send me a pm please Postage from Belgium
  19. Hello Everyone. I have recently returned from some fossil collecting trips and have many Australian invertebrate fossils to trade. I have a large collection of sea urchins, gastropod, bryozoa and other marine invertebrates to trade. The Victorian fossils I have to trade are Miocene to Pliocene and the New South Wales fossils are Devonian and Permian. I would like in return vertebrate fossils. ( Sharks teeth, fish and shark vertebra, mammal bone, etc.) I am also happy to trade overseas. Thanks, Daniel
  20. I wasn’t sure where to put this so our keepers may need to move thisnif it’s in the wrong spot. I have a Harbor Freight blast cabinet that I don’t need. It is less than a year old. I just needed something flat for my microscope. This works well with magnifying lamps and head worn magnifiers. It is worth $100 and I’d be interested in trading for a nice ammonite if anyone is interested. PM me if you want to discuss. I’m in Dallas, TX so local pick up is best but I can ship it if needed.
  21. 2012 Gathering 2013 Gathering 2014 Gathering 2015 Gathering 2016 Gathering 2017 Mid-Year Gathering Hi everyone, and Happy New Year! Singapore Fossils Collectors just had our end year gathering at a new location! As usual, there was food, there was laughter, there was trade, and there were so many fossils! Feast your eyes upon Calvin's personal museum collection. -------------------------- First up, a genuine Dimetrodon from USA. There are some restorations to the skull and bone, but the vast majority is original material. A high-quality Ichthyosaurus cast Stegodon tusk, various shark jaws, whale vert, mammal bones etc. The tiger skull is a cast, thankfully Plesiosaur skull from Goulmima Various amazing material. An authentic baby Psittacosaurus. Ammolite with mosasaur bites. Xiphactinus jaw. Pliosaur tooth etc.
  22. Hello, all. I am putting out the word that I am looking for basically any material that is not already on this list. If you have partials or completes, or even recognizable bits of any trilobite not on this list, I'm hoping to help clear out some space for you by taking them off your hands, lol! Just shoot me a message if you have something you're looking to part with and we will figure something out if possible! If there is just a genus listed with no specific species, then I can't ID what it is based off of what is present and wouldn't mind having a better representation anyway. Thank you all in advance! 23. Hi all, as title says, I'm looking for unprepared bugs from USA to trade for (or buy)! I prefer unpreped material, difficult to prep is not a problem (and I like challenge), so if you would like to share and it's pieces worth investing the prep-time (good preserved possibly complete) I might be interested and could offer really nice bugs or other fossils in return. Maybe you have any unpreped BCM bugs collecting dust and waiting for prep at home that you would like to trade for similar? Not picky in regards to periods, just prefer good preserved specimens, any good preserved Oklahoma (BCM) bugs or specimens from Rochester shale, Walcott-Rust Formation or Ohio or Utah or even the common bugs like Triarthrus or Eldredgeops. There is only one criterium: I know it's a long shot, but I am interested in good material only. Can trade other trilobites or other fossils. Send me a PM if you have too much unpreped bugs you don't have time to prep yourself.
