Hi, I happen to have bought this fossil this morning but can’t seem to identify it, from the way it looks, it seems to be a mollusk but has ridges near the base where it connects to the matrix.

I am unable to identify these pieces from my grandad's collection. He is now unable to clearly see and so sadly couldn't identify it. It must be something, he was a zoologist and the shale meant enough to have a crack repaired. Parts look like bones to me. I'd love to get these identified so I can prep them, making them clearer so he can see them clearer again.

Recently, I went fossil hunting at Jalama Beach, California. After splitting open numerous rocks I encountered a variety of fossils; however, I am new to fossil hunting and I am unsure what species of marine fossils I found. Any help with ID would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Dipleura Dekayi From NY or Parahomalonotus trilobite From Morocco
Kurufossils posted a topic in Fossil ID
Hello, I received this trilobite a long ago that I thought was a Parahomalonotus trilobite when I initially got it, recently someone let me know this maybe actually a Dipleura Dekayi, I definitely have my suspicions this would be the case because the surrounding shale matrix is very unusual for Morocco. What do you guys think? -
Hello Folks, I am new to this Forum and would appreciate any help that could be given. I recently went to Big Brook in NJ and unfortunately struck out finding shark teeth. I did however find this potential fossil. Does anyone have an idea of what it could be? I am new to this so have nothing to compare it to. I have a ton more photos. The object is 7/8" on it's longest side and has two interlocking pieces. Thanks, Peter More pics

We found this at Willwood formation Wy. Looks like a jaw bone but not sure what from. There is a layer of rock around the bone. Hopefully someone recognizes it. Thanks. Part of a jaw bone

Just wondering if anyone knows what this is. It looks like a turtle shell from the top but looks like it was round at one time.

Last weekend I came across this fossil in a creek bed outside of Dallas, TX. It definitely appears to be some kind of a fossil, but it's awkward shape is leaving me wondering what exactly it is. I'm hoping someone can help me identify what it is and what type of animal it may have come from. Let me know if there are any questions I can answer that may help. Thank you! Ryan
