Well,... it seems as if spring is about to arrive any day now, and with a new month, comes a new wearer of the MotM crown. By staff consensus, this month's elected winner is: Kane For nearly 3 years, this Canadian Renaissance Man has contributed trip reports, thoughtful insight into fossil ID requests, friendly jests, and shared in the spirit of what this forum is all about. A consultant, author and college professor, as well as a self proclaimed human Back Hoe, Kane brings a fresh enthusiasm and helpful manner to this Forum. Kane, thanks for all of your contributions, which help to make this forum what it is. Congratulations on a well deserved win. Keep up the good work.

Hi All, Just had to share my good fortune, I had a small bonus at work and with permission from my good lady I spent it on a TT prep pen from Ken Mannion, I spoke to ken before ordering the pen and he was very helpful and gave me a much better understanding of what i wanted and what i would get along with its capability's. The pen arrived promptly and I set it up immediately, had some practice on some old fossils that I had that i kept with this in mind. I must say that the practice was a good idea as the power and precision of the new pen is worlds away from what I have been using. I have attached an image of my first TT pen prepped fossil, and am looking forward to doing many more. Regards Mike
