My friends mom asked if I wanted a running ten gallon with 3 large goldfish, about 6 weeks ago. I said no as i have a 30 and it is stocked (overly, at that time) and i have no room for another tank. Anyhow, i got around a 150 gallon preformed pond for free. I added gambusia, sailfin mollies and two bream and 2 channel cats, all under 4 inches. A video tomorrow. I have to wait until Friday to set up a filter, right now a 150 GPH pump is dropping water a ft to areate it. The women that gave him to me insisted the pond needed to cycle for 3 weeks (It's been set up a week) the mollies and bream and catfish are fine, none have croaked. 5 days ago i did a water change on my 30 gallon and tossed the used filter in to jumpstart the benificial bacteria cycle. I doubt that fish would of made another day or two in that toxic soup it was living in. If the cats or bream fin nip by morning, they will get a ride back the river, whence they came. This poor guy is about 6 inches, minus the 3 inches of tail. Until today, it was living in a 10 gallon with another similar sized goldfish that died 2 days ago, the water was the color of watered down chicken blood. Poor goldfish is probably confused he has room to actually swim around.

Actual fossilized Pepperidge Farm gold fish
Miocene_Mason posted a topic in Is It Real? How to Recognize Fossil Fabrications
On our favorite auction site I have found a great deal for anyone who can afford it: A fossilized Pepperidge dark gold fish. According to the description it’s “probably a few million years old” and “the missing link”. This can be your for a reasonable 999.95$ but the seller is accepting offers. Seems legit to me. Perhaps our fish experts can identify species?- 21 replies
