Hi, what species of mosasaur is this? From the phosphates of Morocco. I will tag you @Praefectus @pachy-pleuro-whatnot-odon. I am thinking Eremiasaurus left dentary with some stuff?

Below are 10 crocodile teeth from the Ypresian age of the Moroccan Phosphates, none of which have been identified. I've numbered them to make it easier to keep track of them as they all look rather similar. Thanks in advance for any proposed IDs Othniel

Hello, I have these stingray teeth that I haven't been able to identify. I only know that they are from Khouribga phosphates (45-70mya). Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Today I had mail. A long-time friend sent me 3 excellent specimens with corkite crystals. Corkite crystals from this mine are probably the best in the world so far. I’m really happy with these specimens

So I just found/bought this beautifully white, little megalodon tooth that I want to turn into a necklace for my son. Just a little leary about toxicity as it was found in the phosphate mines in Florida. Here's the quote from the site: "The Bone Valley Region of Central Florida is world renown for their beautifully colored Megalodon tooth. These highly collectable teeth are getting hard to come by as access to nearly all the mines and phosphate pits where they are found has been shut off." I plan to wire-wrap it & hang it on a chain or black, leather cord. I know phosphates are used in detergents & also in a lot of our food as a preservative (especially cured meats) & considered toxic by most people in the health professions. Could the phosphates that make the tooth so pretty leach out & cause problems for my son? I don't know if the wire wrapping could dig into the tooth & cause dust particles that could get breathed in. Am I being paranoid? If you think it can be toxic we'll just keep it on a stand or something. Here's what it looks like.
