Hey y'all! I'm fairly new to hunting for fossils in Florida. I've done some searching for sharks teeth in Ponte Vedra Beach and Caspersen beach. I've also taken up to looking in some of the rivers and creeks for sharks teeth. Got a couple of the Suwanee River yesterday. I was just wondering if anybody had any tips or tricks in locating some teeth. Like what kind of things am I looking for when it comes to the terrain, sediment, sand, dirt, etc? I have myself a kayak, shovel, and a sifter. Even some general locations within like 2 hours of Jax would be helpful. Cheers

Hi! I’m new to this forum but it’s funny I did find two small shark’s teeth in Summerville yesterday! There is a creek that runs parallel to the bike trail and it does get picked over, however we got lucky. My 8 year old son loved it!

Hi! My name is Michelle Huddleston. I live in Holly Springs, North Carolina. My husband and I have been collecting shark teeth for the past 9 years. We have a little over 10,000 shark teeth which most are small. These were collected at Myrtle Beach, SC. We want to up the game and start doing river hunting and quarry digging so we can find bigger teeth or unique colors. I did some research over the weekend. Looks like Summerville, SC is a hot spot but we don't know where to go. I found some quarries we can go to so that is set up. Anyone have a place we can go find megalodon teeth at? That is the one tooth we don't have yet. Thanks! I look forward to being in this group.
