North Sea mammoth bone?

Hi all, I was given this piece of bone as a Christmas gift. From what I was told it is from the North Sea and is an Ice Age bone. It was suggested by the seller that it could be mammoth. Is it possible to confirm this and if so, what bone could it be part of?

It has a hole that goes all the way through if that helps.

Thanks in advance

Looks like mammoth sternal elements.

Many times I've wondered how much there is to know.

Thanks. If that's the case, what is the hole for?

That would be a foramen. The passage for blood vessels and or nerves.

Edit: In this case it's not just nerves.
