Ludwigia
I finally found a good amount of time to spend several hours in my favorite Kimmeridgian ditch and came up with some nice finds this time around. My largest Ataxioceras (Parataxioceras) hypselocylum to date at 12cm. Ditto for this Taramelliceras (Metahaploceras) strombecki. 8.5cm. A nice Ataxioceras (Parataxioceras) perayense. 5.5cm. Rasenia (Eurasenia) trimera. Also my largest at 8cm. And last but not least an Orthosphinctes (Ardescia) proinconditus. 6cm. I actually stopped in briefly at another site in the viscinity where I found this. 9 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. RuMert
Thank you, strangely our callovian/oxfordian ammonites have the best preservation. But I still like grim rough black and brown steinkerns I will show in my next thread. They are volgian/tithonian and reminiscent of yours 1 My sites & reports

Yes, it's interesting to compare the different types of preservation of the same stratigraphical layers around the world. Greetings from the Lake of Constance.
