The root reminds me of a Striatoamia sp.

( extinct mackerel shark )  Does it look like there were any signs of side cusps?

It is not a real tooth. I was bored and whittled one out of wood. I guess I must get a little better at carving and painting.

I could see it's being the steinkern (internal mold) of a crab leg.

That somewhat makes sense. The shape reminds me of a leg.
