Bone Daddy
Here is an odd one. It's very hard and mineralized. I found it in an intermingled deposit of Pleistocene and Miocene material - I was pulling shark teeth and mammoth ivory fragments from the same hole. So, I don't know if this bone is some Miocene marine critter or a Pleistocene land beast. Can anyone tell what this is? Found in the Peace River, near Zolfo Springs (Bone Valley formation). Thanks in advance!
Spoons
Phalanx? I’m not sure. If it weren’t for the bony texture I’d have thought it was a rock.

It is an odd one. It came out of the clay layer, so I am leaning towards Miocene or Pliocene. Down here, most of the stuff you find in the clay layer is older than Pleistocene. If nobody here can ID it, I will probably email the university and see if Dr. Hurlbert will take a stab at it.
Bone Daddy
This one was really nagging at me, so I emailed Dr. Hurlbert about it. I'll share what he says.
