Buns
Found what appears to be a tooth fragment. It was found in creek in Monmouth County. It’s not conical but semi flat which would eliminate Mosasaur, Croc or such I would imagine. The tip is white which is very unusual. If anyone has any thoughts please let me know. Fossildude19
This looks to me like an Enchodus palatine fang tip. @frankh8147 2 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." Al Dente
The color change toward the tip is typical for an Ischyrhiza mira rostral tooth.
Buns
Thanks for the quick response. I think Al nailed it on the Sawfish. I compared it to some other specimens I had and it came pretty close to one that was extremely small. I just never noticed it. Much appreciated.
