blastoid, echinoderm?

Found this in a gravel bar when I was a kid in south St. Louis county. One of my favorites simply due to the complexity, the impression, and the "remnant piece". Not sure how to differentiate pentremite from blastoid other than the narrow suture lines/rays? Thoughts welcomed!   Bone

Pentremites is a large genus of blastoids.

 

I don't see this as a blastoid and cannot really say that it is an echinoid either.  Could you also provide some side photos of the object to give us a sense of its height.  The more photos, the better.

Hmmm- it is concave, not convex- so I don't know that I can get any better pics- advice appreciated and interest piqued!!!....  Bone
