The triangular depression in this stone is about 7 mm deep and appears to have veins or creases in it and inside the triangle the surface feels very smooth in comparison to the rest of the stone. dhiggi Posted April 15, 2020 Share Posted April 15, 2020 We see a lot of unusual shapes in the ironstone formations near Whitby; the area is famous for ironstone.
