Po911
I got this Mosasaur tooth a little while ago about 2 years ago. It’s a little light but decent. There is a little chip on it and it’s full on white. So I was just wondering if this is even real or just a cast.

Tidgy's Dad
Experience is key, but most of us have been caught out at some time. Some fakes are brilliantly done, others less so if you know what to look for. 1 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.

caldigger
Mosasaur crowns are so common it would be a waste of someone's time to fake. You usually only see the fakes and composites when a root comes into play. Some sellers will add a root ( normally out of modern bone or even sculpt one from plaster ) to make a "whole" tooth hoping it will bring more money on the sales market. But even with the fake/ composited whole teeth, the crowns are usually the real thing.
