Found this in my garden and wondering if anyone knows what it is.

really grabbed my attention .

Is quite dense .

Weighs 50 grams.

Has a really smooth surface.

It seems perfectly round. Possibly man-made. Seems too small for cannonball but that was my first thought upon seeing it.

its not perfectly round as you will see from the subsequent photos will upload. Its slightly elongated. 

but Is pretty close.

It was found right at the top of a steep slope.

At the bottom of that steep slope is an old disused Victorian railway line.

S0 will the slope have been man-made.

Dunno if that helps
