MaxC
Hi everybody I found a seller who is wanting to sell this Mosasaur matrix-specimen. Initial photo's look ok, but I would like to get your opinions on it. Can ask for detailed photos if needed. This would be my first 'major' item that I would add to my humble collection, so naturally, I'm cautious. Kind Regards Max (Belgium)
Darktooth
A few close-ups would really help here. 1 I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.

I'll ask him to send me some good close-ups and add them to the board as soon as I get them. Anything in particular to zoom in on?
ziggycardon
On first sight it look fine to me, the exploded look is what you would expect from Khouribga Mosasaur skulls, but better photo's in a better lighting and some close-ups would help to catch some red flags. 1 Interested in all things paleontology, geology, zoology, evolution, natural history and science! LordTrilobite
First glance looks good. No immediate red flags. Looks like most of the skull and neck of a Prognathodon sp. But like the others have said, closeups would be nice. Especially of the teeth and roots to see if those are original. 2 Olof Moleman AKA Lord Trilobite

LordTrilobite
From these photos I can see no red flags. But there still aren't good closeups of the teeth. Especially those further back are hard to see. The teeth look nice and messy. So I think look real for the most part. But without better photos one cannot exclude the possibility that some teeth were added in later.
