I was wondering if there are any permian to cretaceous reptile/amphibian fossils that even an newbie like me can acquire without having to dig or pay a huge price for,I looked for permian and triassic stuff and it is really hard to find such things

Are barasaurus legal to buy?

As you say, "it is really hard to find such things." That applies to just about everyone. ;)

There are no secrets or shortcuts. Full body specimens are generally going to command premium prices. Keichousaurus specimens do come up fairly regularly on the market, and would likely be the more affordable option given their abundance. You can also keep looking at the online auction sites for Permian branchiosaurs, which may also be a relatively affordable amphibian to acquire.

As for the legality of buying Barosaurus, I cannot say. Just about any fossils that come out of Madagascar have to be modified for export due to fossil laws there.
