thelivingdead531
Sorry to throw all of these at you guys, but my knowledge on plants is pretty nonexistent. If anyone can help with ID’s, I would really appreciate it. I bought them online (there are 14 pairs) and the seller told me they were collected in Vigo county, Indiana. I tried to do a little research on the area and it seems that maybe they came from Chieftain No. 20 mine, but I’m not 100% certain on that. I’ve numbered the photos to help make replies a little easier.
thelivingdead531
@Nimravis You got me started on the way to IDs in the mailbox thread, but the more I try to look into narrowing it down for each nodule, the more confused I become. Pretty, pretty please with a cherry on top, could you help me out a little bit more? Sorry if I’m being a pain in the rear.
Mark Kmiecik
This should help a bit: Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!

Nimravis
FYI- looking at these again I am thinking that they are all Pecopteris with the exception of #9 that looks like Neuropteris. #10 I cannot tell from the picture and I was thinking that #7 is an Alethopteris , but I really think it is a Pecopteris. I am going to tag Jack Wittry @fiddlehead and hopefully he will see this and tell your for sure what you have.
