I have recently acquired this stegodon teeth with jaw bone =)

Name: Stegodon trigonocephalus
Age: Pliocene or Pleistocene
Location: Solo Mountainous Areas, Java, Indonesia

Wow, that's too cool! :wub: It almost looks mammoth-like. :blink: They must have munched on the same types of food. :)

As s stegodon uses its teeth it wears down to what looks like a mammoth tooth and eventually will be replaced
by the tooth behind it. The newly erupted tooth or tooth that has not been worn down has a round roof ridge.

I purchased the fossil directly from an Indonesian fossil dealer =)
