Strange tooth in my grandma’s collection

My grandma has recently given me her entire shark tooth collection with over 2,000 teeth she’s found since she was a girl at the beach house she owns. One of her teeth is not like the rest, however, and is really thick compared to the others even as worn as it is. For reference this American quarter is barely short of an inch, so the tooth is likely exactly an inch. To me, it looks like a canine of some kind but I can’t tell. These are the best images I could get within the 3.95 mb max and can post more if necessary too. Anybody know anything more about it, or if it is just an ordinary shark tooth?

This looks like a very worn and broken Hemipristis serra shark tooth, to me.

Wait for some other opinions, though. ;)
