Emthegem
Another decent haul over the last few days. Bunch of nautiloids and whatnot, a couple mussels. These were my favourites from the last 2 days in the river. This was a biiiiig nautiloid, and after cleaning it I realized there were two of them! wowowowo! (Sorry the picture didn't turn out quite that nice) This is probably one of my highest quality specimen so far, although it did break near the end when extracting it from the matrix. 7 -
Emthegem
Almost forgot, here were the shells: There are two pretty large mussels and a small nautiloid in this one, but I definitely should have cleaned it as it would have looked much better :/ And this was a very large shell, I believe it is an Ambonychia sp. but I could be wrong as there a lot of similar looking bivalve fossils in Toronto. I'm probably going to take a break from hunting for a bit as I have a summer course that needs some catching up on haha, along with other errands that need to get done. -
