I found this along the Missouri River this weekend...looking for some insight on what it might be??  Any guesses?

Did you find any other fossils in that area? That would probably help us have more context for the formation it came from. 

However if I had to guess, based on the photos it looks like a large fish tooth. Possibly Xiphactinus or Protosphyraena.

Thank you very much for your response!  I have found a few in this area...especially down by the river...will send pics later on the type of material / earth that is around here.
