dbrake40
I am posting theses images pulled down off a Facebook fossil ID site because this has me STUMPED. It s a partial skull found in a Nebraska river. But of what?! Eyes and ears are high up and way back on the skull. I'll try to add more pics. Sorry stills from video are blurry. You can see what I believe is the ear canal close to the eye socket in the last photo.
Fossildude19
These screen caps with the arrows make it hard to see anything. Some are blurry due to hand shake. Please take pictures of the item on a solid colored flat surface, with a ruler or measuring tape or yardstick for scale. Take them from directly above the item in daylight. Do one side, Turn it over. Do that side, Have someone hold it verticle , against the floor. Repeat for all six sides. Take pictures of all sides. Top, Bottom, Front, Back, Left side, Right side, all next to a ruler. Crop the images to include just the fossil and ruler. 1 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM - APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." dbrake40
Thanks! I believe it is a giant beaver braincase now also. Any idea what something like this is worth?
