Arthropleura model made here on Vancouver Island - local news

A recent item in our local TV news (CHEK in Victoria) caught my eye...

A local guy who makes models of anything and everything, apparently, was commissioned to make a life-sized Arthropleura (the huge myriapod from the coal swamps) for the Burpee Museum in Illinois. Catch it while the video is still posted:

Cool! The Field Museum in Chicago has a fiberglass model of one in their coal swamp exhibit as well. I wonder how many other life-size Arthropleura models are out there?

I'd hazard a guess and say there probably aren't very many of them around the world...
