traveltip1 Posted August 12, 2020 Share Posted August 12, 2020 I found this Ice Age fossil in Peace River, Florida.... 1+ inch length of the base of deer antler. Photos show a side view and entire bottom 'button' base, where it was attached to skull. So I think this is a shed antler. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you are not familiar with them you'd likely never guess what they were but once you know they are obvious in retrospect. We find broken tine tips as well.
