Tooth from Southern Sweden

Recommended Posts

Hi,

My son has found this tooth when we went swimming in the Baltic Sea (exact location  : Löderups Strandbads Camping , Southern Sweden).

Appreciate if someone can tell us what this could be as he's very happy to have found it.

Cheers!

Welcome to the Forum.
We will need to see the flat, chewing surface of the tooth to ID properly.

Hey,

First of all, welcome to the forum! Second of all, I agree with @Fossildude19 that a chewing surface will be needed to properly I.D, but to me it looks like a bovid tooth, if it were from places I’ve seen I’d say cow, but it could be something else. I’d say it’s probably modern, but I can’t be positive.
