paleo.nath
This shark tooth came from a bulk package, and I’m thinking it’s otodus? But i’m not sure, it’s a little over an inch, and from the Khouribga phosphate beds in Morocco
Tidgy's Dad
Yes, bit of a broken Otodus obliquus; I should think. 1 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.

There are several species from that part of the world. It might be some sort of Sand Tiger shark but I'm not as familiar with the teeth from that area. Cheers, Brett
Praefectus
Sorry Tidgy's dad. I don't think it is Otodus obliquus. I need to check some references before I can give a confident ID. There are too many species of cusped Moroccan sharks.
Praefectus
I think this tooth is Serratolamna (Cretolamna) aschersoni.
Harry Pristis
Sand tiger might be a better fit.
