Hey my first recommendation would be fossils from Morocco such as spinosaurus, carcharodontosaurus, plesiosaur, mosasaur, trilobites and shark teeth fossils if you‘re simply looking to buy.

We all started there and it’s a great way to have very nice examples for very cheap.

You can also buy big megalodon teeth from the US.
Other option is to go hunt for yourself!

Regards.

Going out collecting firsthand in fossiliferous areas.

When it comes to collection size, a good number of us here have the opposite problem!

Indeed!
So, the question is, what are you really interested in, @Georgemckenzie? How many fossils can your home "carry" ;)?

Nothing compares to self-found fossils (in my opinion). But that´s a matter of taste (edit: And location, of course!).

We cannot refer specific sellers on the forum. You can try online stores that sell fossils, online auctions, rock/gem/fossil shops, and fossil shows.

Green River fossil fish a good value.

Madagascar ammonites are a fantastic value; the only problem is that the large majority have been artificially processed in some way (some more than others).

Medium to small megalodon teeth are affordable and fun.

I like buying fossils, but ones you find have a sentimental value that doesn't match the $ value.  Probably the best fossil I have found is worth $15, but I am very proud of it.  I would try that if at all possible.

Why don't you tell us what you are interested in?
