PrehistoricWonders
Hey, I purchased this sometime in October, November, or December of 2019 and was wondering what you guys thought it was. It’s 1/2 an inch wide and 3/8 an inch long, to me, it looks like a posterior megalodon tooth, but I don’t even know if the get that small, there might be serrations, but the tooth is extremely worn, so it could just be feeding damage. Praefectus
I'm not great with posterior teeth, but I think it is a posterior Carcharhinus sp. tooth. Wait for more experienced members to comment, though.
Al Dente
It has a prominent nutrient groove so it most likely is Cacharhinus.
