PaleoOrdo
Could this be a small worm? The size is about 3cm. Martin
PaleoOrdo
By an accident I divided the stone and the head of the fossil. Then I did see that it is full of crystals. That would indicate that it is really a fossil? But I do nt know if it is a worm. The stone is from late middle to late ordovician. It was the first stone found by my son, and he is eager to know what is it. Any one have an opinion?
Darbi
Soft tissues are very rarely preserved, so I doubt it's a worm. I don't know what it is...possibly a mineral inclusion? Pictures of different angles might help.
PaleoOrdo
Maybe you are right, propably an intrusion, although it could be a trace fossil. I will send more pics when I find the stone somwhere here. Martin
