Wondering what species this scallop is

I found this in Venice florida. I was wondering if anyone knew the species. I believe it's a scallop.

I'd guess Carolinapecten eboreus , but @MikeR will know for sure.  A photo of the interior would be very helpful, including a close-up of the interior of the beak and hinge area if possible.

Can you take a picture along the front edge so I can see the rib profile?

Nice find!!  I have found similar ones at Caspersen Beach, not far from Venice. It will be interesting to me to know the ID. Mine are likely the same.

I think you're right Mike with Carolinapecten eboreus.

The ribbing is stronger than I have seen with most C. eboreus, but it isn't Chesapecten so I would also say eboreus.
