cck
A beautiful Friday at Stratford Hall in Virginia yielded few teeth, but a curious bone that matches one I collected on another occasion from the same spot. My gut says they are from the ear? Skull somehow? But I can’t find a good match... I’m hoping someone with more experience will recognize. Thanks ! Rockwood
Cetacean jaw fragment might be a place to start. Provided that is a large foramen.

sharkdoctor
Definitely a cetacean skull fragment. I was thinking squamosal, which connects to the periotic.

Boesse
Both are indeed dolphin squamosals! On occasion these can be identified to family. I suspect here they are Eurhinodelphinidae. Your gut feeling is right: the earbones articulate with the squamosal.
