Real T.Rex tooth?

Recommended Posts

Very nice dentary tooth. Minor repair and fill to the tip area, looks like its been reattached.  Some repair/fill to distal serrations half way down.

  Do you have a locality where this was found?  Its a Tyrannosaurid tooth but need to verify its from HC formation then it would be Trex.

Just wanna remind you that certificates for authenticity means nothing

The experts below should answer your question

@Troodon@jpc

I do not know about graded fossils or  certificates for authenticity. But some in other field like coin collecting. is the certificate stamped on the back by a recognized business or peeled off of a pad of them?

Heck, I can print up a certificate of authencity at home and include it with plastic casts.  They mean nothing.

but the tooth looks great.  Love that wear surface on the tip.
