Despite the resemblance to some plant fossils from around there, I think it's actually a very nicely patterned piece of industrial slag. The bubbles of various sizes are typical, and the pattern looks as if it's caused by a combination of fracture and flow in a semi-molten piece. 1 Tarquin Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
