Turritella sp?

Found these the other day at Stratford Hall, Virginia. Any idea if these are Turritella or another species?

Not sure these are fossils, (Hard to tell from the photos!) but if they are, they are likely  internal molds of some type of Cowrie shell, rather than a turritella type gastropod.
