Fotsirk
Hi . I got some rooted teeth. I heard they are harder to find because it means the dinosaur died. So are these good Thanks

Top Trilo
With rooted dinosaur teeth the most common issue is it’s a composite or they did some restoration on the tooth, so look for color changes. My eye can’t catch these flaws as well as others so we’ll see what they say. I hope these are all good “If fossils are not "boggling" your mind then you are simply not doing it right” -Ken (digit) "No fossil is garbage, it´s just not completely preserved” -Franz (FranzBernhard) "With hammer in hand, the open horizon of time, and dear friends by my side, what can we not accomplish together?" -Kane (Kane) "We are in a way conquering time, reuniting members of a long lost family" -Quincy (Opabinia Blues) "I loved reading the trip reports, I loved the sharing, I loved the educational aspect, I loved the humor. It felt like home. It still does" -Mike (Pagurus) “The best deal I ever got was getting accepted as a member on The Fossil Forum. Not only got an invaluable pool of knowledge, but gained a loving family as well.” -Doren (caldigger) "it really is nice, to visit the oasis that is TFF" -Tim (fossildude19) "Life's Good! -Adam (Tidgy's Dad)
Troodon
Are these teeth good? No they are bad. Its a mixture of poorly restored and repaired crowns, roots and composite material. Not sure they are all Carcharodontosaurus. If you have not purchased them I would avoid.

I second that, all of them are artisanal artwork: combined pieces and added fake roots. I have a saying .. 'prices/money is counted by the inch' in Morocco... LordTrilobite
All of these look like composites. Olof Moleman AKA Lord Trilobite
Praefectus
Hello @Fotsirk. Sorry, but the your teeth are poor quality dinosaur teeth. Unfortunately, they are worn/composite crowns attached to fake roots.
Haravex
avoid all of these as echoed by everyone else so far the first reminds me of a tooth I got scammed on recently in a large lot (sadly cant travel to morocco to check out the quality) I will show an example of what occurs on a tooth like this. paulyb135
I too have been guilty of buying/trading a tooth like these in the past and it ended up being very much a composite made up of plaster and a few different teeth. I learned from my mistake and this forum is a very good tool for you to always check before you buy. Hopefully it wasn’t too costly for you and you can learn from this for future reference
