austinswamp
Good afternoon I found this jaw and tooth fragment along a creek in Central Texas which has produced artifacts from late Pleistocene deposits. I was thinking this was part of a dire wolf jaw I was hoping to get identification thank you

Length of the jaw and length of the tooth (the white part). Nice find !!! It will be great to find out what it is.... By the way, your tooth is a carnassial, and the lower carnassial is a "m1" 2 The White Queen ".... in her youth she could believe "six impossible things before breakfast"
