Troodon
It looks real to small to be a hadrosaur egg. You should stabilize the eggshell to avoid loosing more of it. Do you have a provenance where its from?
-Andy-
This is real. As Troodon asked, see if you can get a provenance. I am guessing it's from Ganzhou. 37 minutes ago, Troodon said: It looks real to small to be a hadrosaur egg. You should stabilize the eggshell to avoid loosing more of it. Do you have a provenance where its from? The collectors in China claim eggs of this size belongs to small hadrosaurids. I have no idea if it's scientifically proven however. 1 Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday!

Crazyhen
I agree with Andy that the egg looks like one from Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province of China. It looks similar to the type of eggs below, but it is found in Heyuan of Guangdong Province (some 250km away).
Fotsirk
The seller just replied and said the egg was found in Jiangxi . So your right about the place . Anyone an idea about the dinosaur?

Anyone an idea about the dinosaur? We only know it is some kind of herbivore. The exact species can only be determined by examining the eggshell cross section under microscope. Chinese collectors call these "small hadrosaurid" eggs. I call mine "Dendroolithus/Spheroolithus sp." 3 Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors!
