Hadrosaur jaw fragments

These are two Hadrosaurus jaw fragments I’ve had for awhile. As far as I know they are from the Hell Creek formation of Montana. I think they might be Edmontosaurus but I really can’t tell. The fragment exhibiting tooth channels is about 8 inches in length. The other fragment or chunk exhibits many broken teeth and is about 4 inches in length. @Troodon @jpc might like to have a look?

The only hadrosaur in the Hell Creek Formation is Edmontosaurus.  Can you provide a locality which supports its from the HC formation? Montana is not an adequate provenance.

Unfortunately the old label I received when I acquired these specimens was not specific to a locale. Definitely a deficient provenance if even a provenance it is. Thanks Troodon.

While Edmontosaurus is the only described hadrosaur in the Hell Creek formation, there have been reports of possible rare Lambeosaurine material as well.

The first fossil is a nice piece of a left dentary.

I thought the size of the jaw might indicate a juvenile. Thanks jpc!
