BellamyBlake
I have here a Spinosaurus tooth, 4" in length. It has the repair close to the base. I'd love to know if anyone can spot restorations. I don't see any. Thank you, Bellamy
Randyw
I see several repairs and I’m not sure all the pieces are from the same tooth but I could easily be wrong... 1
Thomas.Dodson
Not very experienced in spotting restoration but it does look suspicious to me. The arrow points to a spot that seems really suspect. It doesn't seem to flow naturally. Maybe some restoration/molding to cover the composite marks. 1
Top Trilo
I agree the tooth changes quite a lot above and below the line Thomas pointed out so I'd agree with composite 1 “If fossils are not "boggling" your mind then you are simply not doing it right” -Ken (digit) "No fossil is garbage, it´s just not completely preserved” -Franz (FranzBernhard) "With hammer in hand, the open horizon of time, and dear friends by my side, what can we not accomplish together?" -Kane (Kane) "We are in a way conquering time, reuniting members of a long lost family" -Quincy (Opabinia Blues) "I loved reading the trip reports, I loved the sharing, I loved the educational aspect, I loved the humor.
