Actually there is a simple but valuable life lesson here.

Train yourself to notice when something that could easily have gone wrong doesn't and make a big deal of it, even more so than you would cry Murphey when it does.

I think you will find that Murphey isn't so tough after all.

Those are wise words.

 

I never notice when I'm dragging the hose, wire, rope, etc. and doesn't get hung up on something.  I only notice when it does.  At that point I can't wait for death when I have a sneaking suspicion that physics won't apply and I can then urinate on it and laugh. 

 

I need to start counting my blessings.  So far, the best I've been able to do is "embrace the suck", and occasionally "wish it sucked more".  LOL!

 

Having recently retired, I'm ready for the next step and working on gratitude and your wisdom.
