Some fossils I found in north Israel

Hello, here are some fossils I found in northern Israel in the oren river. I found a lot of rocks that where filled with fossils and mainly ammonites. If anyone knows the species of these fossils I would be happy to know that. I know that there are a lot of real fossil experts in this forum so I figured maybe these fossils will be helpful to someone (maybe it's an unknown species or a species that was not found in this area).

I added a covid mask for general size reference and I would be happy to hear anything you have to say about these fossils.:megalodon_broken01:

I'm not sure you will get a very specific ID since most are impressions and steinkerns. All I can tell is gastropods and rugose corals, maybe someone can narrow it down further. It might help if you know the age or formation.

I like your covid mask for scale.  I have to agree with TopTrilo... internal molds can be impossible to ID to species.  You might be able to get the snails to genus, but even then, that would take someone very well versed in fossil snails.  Sometimes it is OK to say... Here are some fossil snails, without having a genus and species.

I think number 7 is a rugose coral... I might be wrong though!

If the geological age of the holding matrix is Jurassic, the corals are scleractinian corals.

2 & 7 are corals, although there may also be a snail attached to 7 at the top. I can't make out 3 well enough to make a guess, but the rest of them are snails.

Thank you ever so much for your replies, seeing all of yours's deep knowledge about fossils just brings me back the excitement for learning about fossils. I always know if I start learning something new about fossils I will have the best time I had in a while. But sometimes this excitement for learning is missing and when that happens everything starts going south.

Thank you everyone that takes part in this forum and brings back the excitement that is sometimes gone:ptero:.

And also did they add more fossil emojis? That's amazing!
